Over 500 executives were in attendance to support the top ten awardees, where Barran Liebman was named #7 in the Medium-Sized Company category for their dedication and involvement in the local community.
According to Barran Liebman’s Co-Managing Partner, Ed Harnden, who accepted the award on Barran Liebman’s behalf, “Community involvement has always been at the core of Barran Liebman’s culture, and we support organizations through monetary contributions, as well as board service and pro bono legal advice.” Barran Liebman is humbled and honored to be included amongst the many remarkable organizations recognized today for bettering our community.
Among the many organizations that Barran Liebman supports are the Campaign for Equal Justice, Dress for Success Oregon, POIC + RAHS (Portland Opportunities Industrialization Center + Rosemary Anderson High School), Children’s Cancer Association, Albertina Kerr, All Hands Raised, Portland Opera, and Camp Ukandu. Attorneys and staff members participate in fundraisers for these, and many other philanthropic organizations, in the form of charitable giving as well as the donation of time and talents. Whether it is related to education initiatives, helping support families with severely ill children, working to enhance access to justice, or enhancing workforce development initiatives, Barran Liebman looks forward to making a continued impact towards improving the quality of life for everyone who calls Oregon home.
